A pair of cotton sweat pants from the textile industry could be on your shopping list soon.
As a part of the National Australian Wool and Wool Products Council’s new Women’s Cotton Sweatpants Program, Woolworths is offering free high-end women’s sweatpants and leggins to consumers in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
These free products, which are manufactured by a number of different Australian textile manufacturers, come in different colours and styles and are made from Australian-grown cotton and linen sourced from the same country.
These high-grade women’s clothing and legging insulate well against temperatures ranging from 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit) to 32 degrees Celsius (-78 degrees Fahrenheit).
In the United States, Woolen Mills is also offering free cotton sweat shirts and legged trousers to consumers through the National American Wool and Cotton Products Council, and in Australia the Australian Wool Council is offering similar free products to consumers.
“There’s definitely a trend in the marketplace for women’s wear to be warmer and more comfortable,” Woolworth’s chief marketing officer, Jill Stoner, said.
“It’s a trend that’s growing in the UK, too, as we have seen with the rise of warmer summer days.”
We’re seeing a lot of women wearing them in warmer climates, and we think the women of Australia are ready to take advantage of that.
“Stoner said the women’s apparel and legings offered through the program were made to provide a range of comfort and performance, and included a wide range of fabric and textile options.”
If you’re looking for a high-performance option in women’s clothes and legyues, this is the way to go,” she said.
Woolworths says the program has been a success so far and women are spending up to $200 more per month on these items.”
The program has seen huge uptake in the Australian marketplace, and Woolworth has a great relationship with Australian companies,” Stoner said.
In Australia, Wool’s offer is limited to women who are 18 years old or older, who are at least six months pregnant or breastfeeding, or who are eligible for the Women’s Wool and Fiber Ribbon program.”
All of our women are eligible to participate, and it’s a great way for women to have a great experience with our products,” Wool’s marketing manager, Natalie Jones, said in a statement.WOOLWORTHS has also introduced the Woolworth Women’s Clothing Collection, which is made up of cotton and cotton-based clothing that is available for purchase through the company’s online store and the Woolies website.”
Woolies has partnered with a number high-profile brands, including Zara, and with women’s fashion experts to bring their collections to a whole new audience,” Woolies managing director, Stephanie Tullow, said during the program launch.”
To kick-start their new product line, Woolies has created a range that is tailored to fit women’s individual preferences.
“In Australia and New Zealand, Woolsworths has also created a Women’s Fiber Ribbon Collection that is sold through the Woolwares online store.
This new Women to Cotton Program comes after Woolworth launched its first free Women’s Sweat Pants program in November.
The program also includes the Women to Wool program, which will include women’s leggs and cotton pants.”
